Report: The final field trip of the year found the group once again at Crab Wood for a short outing before retreating to the warmth and hospitality of Eric and Sue for delicious spread of good food and chatter. On this occasion Eric attempted to move us into the Eastern HIOWWT part of Crab Wood but with the temptation of many twigs, branches and leaves this took sometime. It was worth the trip as Sue Rogerson found a very luxurient display of Plicaturopsis crispa (Crimped Gill) showing its very unusal gill appearance and was new to Hampshire as well. There was one final new species to round of the year, a Tubaria (Twiglet) with a ring: T confragosa - a seasonal Hula Hoop perhaps? - sorry about that.
