Following the publication of the acclaimed book ‘The Resupinates of Hampshire’ Alan Lucas and Paul Hugill have agreed to give an introductory workshop on its use in the identification of resupinate fruit bodies.
This will be a tutored course with hints on sample preparation, an introduction to their keys and illustrations of the meaning of the terms used, followed by a number of worked examples to allow the audience to collaborate in the keying out of each species. It is hoped that this will allow attendees to work on specimens back home - limited space and time mean that there will be no opportunity for individual microscope work on the day.
Time 11th March, 10:00-16:00 with a break for lunch which can be bought from the bar.
